Well today I tried to access my flickr account. It didn’t just pop into my mind – like most things. I was working on a wordpress site for a musician and it had a flickr stream. I thought, oh wait… I have flickr. I went to my page. Nice, pictures from 2006 even!! This is cool. I should incorporate a flickr feed on my new blog design (whenever I get around to that)…
So I go to login. What is that login information? madia. Nope. Madiamusic. That should work. Nope. hmm… now I’m stumped. So I got to the help me page.
Try as they could, Yahoo just could not get me in. Oh yeah, it’s because I couldn’t remember my zip code – from like 3 years ago. Do you know how many places I’ve lived in 3 years? I’m like a nomad or a “gypsy” as my dad likes to call me.
It took some intense searching in my old, indexed email to find the answer. I felt like I’d found something incredible. One victory in a week when victory doesn’t seem so easy to claim.
As it turns out I am msmadialogan to Yahoo. With that 30 minutes of drama, I decided to check out this Open ID thing. I haven’t done my research yet, but I’m going to. http://openid.net/
